ABOUT

I am an artist based in Dresden, Germany. My practice engages with the material and conceptual qualities of the natural world, exploring themes of impermanence, reduction, and the human relationship to the earth.

Working with raw materials such as stone powder, mineral pigments, and other natural elements, I develop paintings that foreground surface, texture, and subtle chromatic shifts. The works are intentionally minimal, allowing quiet variations and organic irregularities to emerge as central aesthetic elements. Rather than representing nature directly, my paintings evoke natural processes and temporal transformation through their material presence.

My process is intuitive and materially driven. By embracing the inherent unpredictability of natural substances, the work reflects a sensibility closely aligned with notions of transience and the beauty of the incomplete. The resulting pieces inhabit a space between painting and material study, where restraint and reduction create a contemplative visual language.

My work resonates particularly with viewers drawn to minimal aesthetics and reflective spaces. The paintings invite a slowed perception and offer moments of stillness within the accelerated rhythms of contemporary life.
